This is a beautiful painting by one of 57357’s patients, Manar Ahmed.

Manar is a talented 18-year-old girl who started her painting journey when she was first admitted in Hospital 57357 back in 2013. She was being treated for Leukemia and survived her cancer treatment journey that ended in 2017. Manar came out stronger because of it. There were many ups and downs during her time at the hospital, but one of the major ups is having been initiated to her one true passion: Painting. Manar is now a student at one of the top art universities in the country. She continues to visit the hospital on a weekly basis, as a volunteer, to teach some of the younger patients everything she learned during her own journey.

The paintings being auctioned are Manar’s very first painting at the start of her treatment journey, and her very last painting that she started at the end of her journey in 2017 but only completed in 2020.

So bid for a great cause! The payment from your bids will benefit the deserving children at the Children’s Cancer Hospital Egypt 57357. As bidders you have two main objectives: to win items that you desire but also to support a charitable cause in part by driving up the price.

This is an all-pay auction – meaning that everyone submits a bid but both the winner and the losers pay their submitted bids!
